Why is someone that speaks the truth labeled?

Has the narrative of our world become so false that anyone who follows the voice of their internal compass and speaks out against what they feel is wrong, is risking ridicule, job loss or worse?

I truly believe we are at a perpetual choice point in our country and our world. The squeeze to take action will only continue. Apathy will no longer be tolerated. As we continue to turn a blind eye to the injustices that are so blatant in our world, we will only get further squeezed. I am now on the other side of apathy. I used to think “oh I should help,” but then I got distracted with the scroll. But now, I know I should help and go out of my way to, when possible. Helping, taking action can be small and it’s in those small actions that the world changes.

Kindness, patience, forgiveness and sharing information are all ways we can make our immediate world better.

“How we do one thing is how we do all things.” I never quite subscribed to that until now. You either live from your internal compass or you don’t.
